Hexagon bolt is the most common used fastener in bolts family. It is externally threaded device designed to mate with nut. It makes use of thread mating method to hold assembled parts together with nut. The hexagon bolts with production grade C is normally used on the steel structure, machines and facilities that does not require precise sizes and with rough surface. The hexagon bolts with production grade A and B are mainly used on the machines and facilities that requires precise sizes and with smooth surface.

Generally, bolts with coarse threads are more common than fine threads. Fine threads are considered to be stronger in tension. They are normally used on thin-walled members or hard materials.
